TERMS & CONDITIONS
We at My House Plan Store (MHPS) made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the plans we sell. These plans contain more than is required for a “Competent, Experienced, Licensed, & Insured Contractor” to prepare cost estimates for all trades, & construct the house to its full completion. Our house plans met all building code requirements that were enforced at the time of constructing the original house. That would be in south central Louisiana. It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to contact your local Building Code Officials about the requirements to get a building permit. It is the responsibility of you, the customer to review the plans with your contractors to verify dimensions and information prior to beginning construction of the house. This would be the time to choose ceiling heights & ceiling configurations. After the concrete gets hard, the actual dimensions of the foundation become the base dimensions of the structure.
Photographs of the house may be different from the elevation shown in the plan set. This is because the Owner made changes during construction based on their individual needs.
The information, plans, and specifications as shown and documented in the plan sets are an “as is” without warranty, either expressed or implied. MHPS assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in these pages or other documentation that is linked to these web pages.
These plans do not include an official “ResCheck” energy analysis. These plans were not designed to meet earthquake and seismic code requirements. These plans may not meet high wind load requirements in coastal and near coastal areas. Check with your local building officials. The plans may have to have additional design data & drawings prepared by a registered architect or engineered to meet the state and local code requirements.
